KWFT held a successful Road Show at the North Coast Region which commenced on 25th to 29th September 2018. The Road Show was put together to promote to the Institution’s water, hygiene and sanitation products portfolio. Thus we scheduled a 5 day promotional road show to deliver over 400 tanks to our clients in Kilifi County. The promotion covered the following areas:

- Friday 28th September 2018 - Watamu Unit
- Saturday 29th September 2018 - Bamba Unit
The official road show flagging off was held on 25th September, at the Karisa Maitha Stadium in Kilifi town and KWFT was privileged to have received a lot of support from Kilifi County led by the Deputy Governor Hon. Gideon Saburi who was the Chief Guest accompanied by the County Commissioner HE Magu Mutindika among other County Officials. KWFT was also well represented by the Board Chair, Mrs Agnes Odhiambo, Operations Director, Mr. Chege, Deputy Operations Director Mr. Kinyanjui, GM, Marketing and Communications Juliana Wanjiru, GM, Customer Experience Penina Mwangi, GM, Insurance Agency Veronica Karoki, GM, Pwani Zone Jane Bundi, Regional Manager Abdi Ibrahim Musa as well the North Coast Regional Team, Product Sales and the Marketing team. Present at the stadium were our esteemed clients and the members of the public in general who came to grace the occasion.
It was all celebration at the flag off ceremony as our clients could not hide the joy of the great impact that KWFT has had in their lives and that of their families.
Being good corporate citizens; KWFT together with our partner Exotank donated 6 water tanks (5,000 litres each) to 5 Public Schools and 1 Health Institution in Kilifi County, who were in need of water storage facilities as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility. The schools were also gifted with 2 branded balls each i.e. a football and a volleyball.
Through the vibrant road show, KWFT received great publicity as the event was featured on to TV stations; Newspapers as well as on social media.
The five day Road Show was a great milestone as the Institution received very many inquiries and contacts for business conversion.
I wish to appreciate Kilifi County Government and our esteemed clients for the continued business support and we look forward to greater partnerships in future.
